Tumbling Program(GuagnZhou)
Beginning Tumbling Class – This class is for athletes 4 years old to 6 years old, who are beginning to learn the basics of tumbling. In this class, students will learn body awareness, motor skills, hand – eye coordination, basics of tumbling, as well as learning to work and take direction in a group setting.
Intermediate Tumbling Class – This class is for all athletes 7 years to 11 years old at the beginning of their tumbling career. In this class, students will work on their basics, as well as working some more advanced skills while building strength, body awareness, motor skills, hand – eye coordination, basics of tumbling, and flexibility, to be able to advance to the next level of tumbling class.
Senior Intermediate Tumbling Class – This class is for any athlete 12 years and older at the beginning of their tumbling career. Primary focus will be on getting their back handspring and round off back handspring as well as building strength, body awareness, motor skills, hand – eye coordination, basics of tumbling, and flexibility.
Advanced Tumbling Class – This class is for any age athlete who already has their back handspring and their round-off back handspring. All athletes must be evaluated before joining this class. In this class, students will continue to work on their body awareness, strength, flexibility, and confidence in tumbling, as well as all skills from previous classes.
Elite & Premiere Tumbling Class - This Class will be a hybrid of 2 classes but athletes we will be working at their Level. This class is for athletes of all ages who already have their round-off back handspring back tuck and their standing series. All athletes must be evaluated before joining this class. In this class, students will continue to work on their body awareness, strength, flexibility, and confidence in tumbling, as well as all skills from previous classes.
Tuition will not be pro-rated for absences. Make ups must be done in the same level or style of class within the athlete's age group. 2 make ups are permitted per session(month for Tumbling Series and 12 weeks for Rec.Tumbling).
Make ups must be done within the session that the athlete is currently enrollen. if absence will be known towards end of session, the class may be made up prior to the athlete is permitted to complete the makeup within the first week of the following session(this only applies to Tumbling Series). Makeups must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
