Varsity at AISG Middle School Drama Day!

Of all the things that Varsity’s instructors do during their work week, one of their favorites is going to different schools around the Guangzhou area and do fun clinics and workshops! This past week, Coach Amy and Coach Olivia were able to do just that when they were invited to teach Hip Hop to AISG’s entire middle school during their annual Middle School Drama Day!

The students from grades 6, 7, and 8 were first led by Coach Olivia in a Hip Hop warmup.  They then got their groove on with some partner work and learned how to do some breakdancing by learning a skill called the corkscrew.

For the finale, they learned a fun hip hop dance and then split into two teams for a dance battle! You can see the dance by clicking the link below!
